Mr. Kaji pursues expression through various clays and firing in the vast nature of Hokkaido.
This is a porcelain vessel fired using Kutani porcelain clay from Ishikawa Prefecture.
Kutani porcelain clay chosen from Mr. Kaji's desire to "help with the reconstruction from the earthquake disaster even a little". Iron powder floating in the soft white, a faint fire color, and expressions leaving traces of handwork make you feel a warmth different from general white porcelain.
While having a neat lightness, it has a somewhat simple and generous appearance. It beautifully enhances the color of the dish and naturally blends into the daily dining table regardless of Japanese or Western style.
It is a vessel filled with Mr. Kaji's kindness and his straightforward feelings toward the materials.
