Manabu Kaji pursues a variety of expressions using clay and fire in the vast nature of Hokkaido.
This is a piece featuring a gently rising edge and a generous round form.
Based on black, the expression where gray and faint green overlap complexly is unique to Mr. Kaji's black. The traces of firing left in the center also become a scenery, making you feel the charm of a one-of-a-kind item.
In addition to using it as an individual plate, it is also recommended as a vessel for serving appetizers, bread, fruits, and sweets.
It beautifully enhances the color of the dish and quietly tightens the daily dining table.
