Yuko Kubo established Hinode Glass Studio, a glass blowing studio, surrounded by the magnificent nature of Toyama.

She creates original works such as stone paperweights that project natural scenes onto glass.

Using traditional techniques and exploring new ideas, he aim to create pieces that will help brighten your daily life.

Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Basic Design.

Graduated from Toyama Institute of Glass Art, Glass certification studies program.

Studied at Pilchuck Glass School. (Seattle/USA)

Graduated from Toyama Institute of Glass Art, Advanced research studies program.
Teaching Associate Research Associate at Toyama Institute of Glass Art.

Joined Nanairo KAN Glass Studio (Toyama Prefecture).
2008
Artist in Residence (Kurashiki University of Science and Technology).
2010
Established her own studio "Hinode Glass" (Toyama Prefecture).
