Tomoko Sakai creates unique pieces fired in an anagama kiln in Kagawa Prefecture.

She creates everyday utensils, tea utensils, flower vases, etc. with a focus on elegant porcelain and high-firing without glaze pottery that bring out the earthy texture.

It seems that her personality is reflected in her works, where you can feel strength in stillness.
