Shotoku Glass were established as a manufacturer of light bulbs in 1922.
"USUHARI", a thin blown glass that is signiture of Shotoku Glass, was born in 1989 using the skills of craftsmen cultivated through the production of light bulbs.
The light texture when you hold it in your hand and delicate taste make the drink even more delicious. It is enjoying for any occasion such as home and in restaurants.
Now, with the vision of "wanting to make more glass use at dining table" they have taken on the challenge of making even greater advances in manufacturing by producing sake bottles, choko cups, and rock glasses, as well as collaborating with kiriko craftsmen.
The extremely simple design, which can only be achieved by a skilled craftsman, blends seamlessly with tableware made of any material, making cooking and mealtimes even more enjoyable.
