Their company was founded at the former residence of Yi Sam-pyeong, the pioneer of Arita porcelain in 1930.
They create products while imagining the future,
and are pursuing contemporary beautiful forms with their descended tradtion and accumlulated techiques.
Functional and modern designs, such as silver glaze, sabimaki, and white porcelain, are created using the outstanding technique and creative sensibility of the fourth generation, Shinji Terauchi.
In recent years, they have been making pieces using Izumiyama pottery stone, which is said to be the foundation of the origin of Arita ware, and they have an elegance reminiscent of those days.
In Arita, where Japanese porcelain was once introduced to the world, they are reconsidering its origins.
This reflects their sincere thoughts as they continues to create pottery by combining the original charm of materials with contemporary ideas.
