Hanako Nakazato × KYO AMAHARE "Autumn Sky"

We are excited to announce the first solo exhibition of ceramic artist Hanako Nakazato at KYO AMAHARE, coinciding with this season’s clear autumn skies.

Exhibition Theme: "Autumn Sky"

This exhibition will feature Nakazato’s iconic Uroko series, along with stunning "blue" pieces reminiscent of the autumn sky crafted in Maine, tea ceremony items (including chashaku hand-carved by Hanako herself), vases, and other unique one-of-a-kind works.

On the opening day, join us for the "Autumn Sky" tea gathering with Hanako Nakazato. We warmly invite you to participate and enjoy this special event.

Hanako Nakazato × yorozu × SO/s/KAWAHIGASHI × Kyo Teahouse "Autumn Sky"

In celebration of the exhibition "Autumn Sky" at KYO AMAHARE, Sabo KYO will host a special tea gathering, allowing guests to experience the theme firsthand. Ceramic artist Hanako Nakazato will join us, sharing insights into her work as we enjoy tea and seasonal sweets together.

This evening event will feature a small chakaiseki meal, with "Tenshin" prepared by so/s/KAWAHIGASHI, offering a refined culinary experience.

We look forward to welcoming you, along with Hanako Nakazato, to this special gathering.
