Marina Yonetsu creates her sculptural works by shattering what she has formed with her own hands, and then carefully piecing the fragments back together.

The voids inherent in these newly born forms seem to reveal the ephemeral process of natural objects decaying over time.

One is naturally drawn into her unique worldview, where a modern, realistic presence coexists in harmony with the spirit of wabi-sabi.
