KYO AMAHARE Exhibition

Sabo KYO marks its second anniversary on March 31.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the many guests from around the world who have visited us over the past two years.

To celebrate this joyful occasion, KYO AMAHARE is pleased to present the exhibition
“Sabo KYO and KYO AMAHARE - III - .”

During the exhibition period, Sabo KYO will offer a special anniversary menu, “Kiu.”

In preparation for this exhibition, works by distinguished makers of tea utensils will be gathered together.
We are also honored to unveil Ame no Hako, a tea box curated under the direction of metal artist Yuichi Takemata.

On the opening day, the participating artists involved in the creation of Ame no Hako will be present and will also join the tea gathering.
We warmly invite you to look forward to this occasion.

Limited Anniversary Menu at Sabo KYO
“Kiu”

From March 27 (Fri) to April 7 (Tue), Sabo KYO will welcome guests with the special anniversary menu, “Kiu.”

Set against the quiet intervals and deep black tones of Utsuwa that evoke rain, the gentle colors of spring flowers emerge—expressed through tea and confectionery.

On March 27 and 28, we are honored to welcome tea master Suguru Tokubuchi of Yorozu, and confectioner Tomonari Kombu of Kombuya Magobei, for two special days.

We also hope this occasion will be a meaningful moment of gratitude for Kana Ogushi, who will conclude her time at Sabo KYO on March 31.

We invite you to spend a serene and restorative time, accompanied by the celebratory rain, Kiu, as you await the clearing skies.
