This autumn, as the season deepens, KYO AMAHARE is honored to present its first exhibition of works by Etsuji Noguchi.

The profound sai—the rich spectrum of colors and textures—found in Noguchi’s creations will intertwine with the 130-year-old machiya, evoking a space as serene and quietly comforting as autumn rain.

The exhibition will feature not only tableware and flower vases, but also tea utensils. In conjunction, our teahouse KYO will host a special tea gathering, Saiu, on Friday, October 24. Mr. Noguchi himself will join us, making it a truly memorable occasion.

Tea gathering "Saiu"

In conjunction with the upcoming exhibition of Etsuji Noguchi, KYO Teahouse will host a tea gathering, Saiu, beginning Friday, October 24.

The space will be arranged with Mr. Noguchi’s works, including the tea utensils, to welcome our guests.
On this special occasion, Mr. Noguchi himself will also take part in the gathering.
