Ikumi Matsumoto × AMART "Yugen"
This marks the very first time her works are being featured on our online platform.
Earlier this spring, Matsumoto-san set out on a journey along the Silk Road.
Scenes of ancient cave temples etched themselves into her memory, along with murals and sculptures encountered along the west-to-east path.
From these powerful impressions emerged a new body of work—pieces that seem to quietly embody the prayers of people who lived in distant times.
We warmly invite you to explore the contemplative world of Ikumi Matsumoto through this special exhibition.
