Online Exhibition Yuichi Murakami × AMAHARE "The Afterglow of White"

The exhibition “The Afterglow of White” by Yuichi Murakami × AMAHARE, held at Amahare Shirokanedai, concluded yesterday.
For the past two years since his previous show, Murakami-san has devoted himself to researching how glaze can influence the taste of tea.
Through Hōin no Kai, many of you were able to experience these subtle differences firsthand. The tea leaves, the materials of the utensils, the glazes, and even one’s physical condition or mood at the moment—all of these elements can influence flavor.
There is no single “correct” answer; rather, I feel the true pleasure lies in appreciating these variations.

We are pleased to announce that the Online Exhibition will open on Friday, November 28th at 6:00 PM on the Amahare Online Shop.
In addition to the Hōin series, we will also present a selection of white porcelain works.
We hope you will take this opportunity to explore and enjoy the nuanced differences in taste.
The Hexagon Tea Set and other signature pieces will also be available.
