This unique placemat was designed by Japanese washi artist Wataru Hatano, drawing inspiration from the intricate design of the storeroom door at tea room Kyo. It is used at Kyo as a confectionery tray for showcasing traditional Japanese sweets.
Featuring soft, rain-inspired polka dots, this placemat embodies the natural elegance and durability of washi paper. Its refined appearance and pleasant texture add a touch of sophistication to any setting.
