Area:Izumi, Osaka, Japan
Material:Glass

How would glass tableware, which is revealed in its entirety when light shines on it,
have looked like in an age when only natural light or candlelight was available?

In this place where the soft light reaching
through the shoji is so comfortable, we arranged
many of Mr. Tsujino's masterpieces abyss (things picked up from the sea).

One that allows light to pass through cleanly.
Those that hold the light inside and do not show its full picture.
Those whose colors are hard to distinguish.

At first glance, the work has the impression that Japanese and Western are fused,
but after you learn about the connection between the light and the arts,
you realize that the "wabi-sabi" sensitivity of the Japanese people is inherent in it.
