We are pleased to host a dual exhibition on the second floor of KYO AMAHARE, featuring Hokkaido Niseko-based creative director and photo artist Shouya Grigg, alongside glass artist Takeshi Tsujino, who creates his works between Wakayama and Osaka.
The theme is "Kokuu" — the void.
That which exists there.
That which does not.
We invite you to experience the space and time where this 130-year-old traditional townhouse resonates with the artists’ views of nature and their aesthetic sensibilities.
On the opening day, we will host a special tea ceremony, "Kokuu," at Sabo KYO.
We look forward to welcoming you to both the exhibition and the tea ceremony, sharing a quiet moment together.

In harmony with the dual exhibition beginning on Friday, April 17, Sabo KYO will host a special tea ceremony, "Kokuu."
We welcome you into a space where the atmosphere and tea Utsuwa are thoughtfully composed of works by Shouya Grigg and Takeshi Tsujino. This is an intimate occasion where both artists will join the seating.
Please enjoy the spatial arrangement and menu, carefully curated for this single day.
