Taku Eiki × AMAHARE "Deep Green"

As the townscape becomes adorned with the lush, deep hues of early summer, AMAHARE in Shirokanedai is honored to host an exhibition by Taku Eiki, a glass artist based in Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture.

This collection centers on a captivating "Moss Green"—an exhibition-exclusive color that invites the viewer into the depths of a tranquil forest—presented alongside a spectrum of Clear, Amber, and Grey.

We invite you to experience the elegant harmony between the artist's refined forms and his sophisticated palette.

We look forward to welcoming you to our space.

The Essential Grey

This marks our second solo exhibition with Mr. Eiki.

Because his works are a cherished part of our permanent collection, we approach this exhibition not as a fleeting event, but as a continuation of our deep journey with the artist.

Gazing at the new arrivals, one feels that Grey is perhaps the most faithful companion to his disciplined forms.

Even his signature pieces undergo subtle transformations—slight shifts in scale or evocative new names—born from his daily dialogue with the glass. It is our mission and true joy to deliver these evolving works along with the artist’s life story and devotion.

Classic Amber

Amber stands alongside Grey as a pillar of this collection.

As with our previous exhibition, we collaborated with stylist Hiroko Takenaka and photographer Yuka Yanazume to capture the essence of his work.

Against a classic brown backdrop, his Amber pieces exude a quiet nostalgia, yet their presence remains unmistakably modern.

This exhibition also marks the debut of Japanese-style forms, such as Tokkuri (sake carafes). These Utsuwa are carefully crafted to gracefully elevate the quiet ritual of enjoying your favorite sake.

Clear as Water

It is through his Clear glass that we rediscover why his Grey and Amber hues are so profound.

The material's high transparency is breathtaking—so pure that the boundary between the glass and water seems to vanish entirely.

Small Glasses

We have curated a selection of small glasses, featuring the exhibition-exclusive "Moss Green" alongside various other colors. Many of these forms are being unveiled for the very first time.

Whether you choose to unify them or playfully mix a diverse array of shapes and shades, each piece brings its own unique character to the hand.

Coloring the Table

While we often gravitate toward a more restrained palette, Mr. Eiki’s work gently reminds us of the delight found in a vibrant, colorful dining scene.

"Moss Green," "Clear," "Amber," and "Grey."

The true allure of his Utsuwa lies in their refined simplicity, allowing them to harmonize beautifully—whether paired with other glass pieces or layered with different materials like wood and lacquer.

We invite you to step into our carefully prepared space and find the perfect pieces to ensure your home remains a sanctuary of comfort, come rain or shine.
