Online Exhibition Osamu Makiya × AMAHARE "The Path I LIve"

Thank you very much to everyone who came to "The Path I Live" by Osamu Makiya x AMAHARE at AMAHARE, Shirokanedai.

 

Now, we will hold an Online Exhibition this weekend, Friday, September 9, starting at 6:00 PM.

 

Makiya's representative works are tableware with Karakusa pattern, but in this exhibition, he started to make tableware and flower vase with "straight" lines that give a modern impression.
This change has been so great that Mr.Makiya himself says, "I wonder if the customers will be surprised.

Many of works by Makiya are born from his advanced techniques and new sensibilities, while respecting his roots in Okinawa.
