After training in traditional papermaking in Ayabe, Kyoto—the birthplace of Kurotani washi—Wataru Hatano began creating works centered around washi. A single piece of calligraphy by Hatano, expressed with fluid elegance, brings a sense of harmony to your space.
Enjoy the dialogue between words, rendered poetically in black and white.
