Building on more than 20 years of experience in glass craftsmanship, glass artist Tsuyoshi Tsujino founded the glass studio 'fresco' in 2001, in Izumi City, Osaka. In 2005, the fresco brand was launched, with the goal of balancing 'credibility' and the uniqueness of handmade products, offering glassware that seamlessly integrates into modern living. Fresco not only creates individual glass pieces but also considers the relationship between the product and the space it inhabits, suggesting possibilities for glass in various environments.
The brand values collaboration, aiming to merge the product with its surroundings. All of fresco's glassware is handmade, each piece uniquely crafted. Tsujino emphasizes that in today's world, the act of choosing has become a form of expression. When the creation of the artist meets the personal expression of the user, it forms a new relationship—a connection that fresco values deeply.
Tsujino’s craftsmanship allows for the creation of glassware with unique textures, blending layers of color and clear glass. These pieces, with their varied transparency, color, and texture, offer countless possibilities and are perfect for year-round use. Tsujino encourages individuals to select glassware that resonates with their own sensibilities, fostering a personal connection with each piece.
