●25-GS-15 The egg A-11
Number F01375
Artist:Gaku Shakunaga
Area:Higashiiwase, Toyama Prefecture
Material:Pottery stone
Dimensions:Approx. 285 × 100 × 245 mm
An object series by Gaku Shakunaga of GAKU ceramics.
The theme is “Unnamed Egg.”
Where it was born, and to whom it belongs, remains unknown.
Egg-like, yet not quite an egg—a form that quietly exists beyond the boundaries of language.
The deep black surface sharpens the atmosphere of the space, radiating a strong and grounded presence.
At the same time, its expansive curves feel organic, as if it might gently shift the moment one reaches out a hand.
