Yamanaka lacquerware is the oldest of the traditional lacquerware crafts, and craftsmanship has been passed down from generation to generation.
What they always keep in mind is "making products that can be used by many people."
The stripes that have been ground inside and out by craftsmen are very beautiful, and the lacquer is applied and wiped off repeatedly, and the lacquer is applied to the wood base with a technique called "Fuki-urushi." Enjoy the beautiful zelkova wood grain.
Recommended for soup with lots of ingredients.
A type of red called Koshu with less luster.
It is also attractive that the black lacquer of the base slightly emerges.
