""gen,"" named after the deep black color ""kuroiro"" known as ""gen"", is one of the signature works of Shakunaga Gaku, standing alongside his iconic ""âge."" Originally characterized by a velvety, profound texture, ""gen"" has undergone an evolution for this exhibition. By altering the firing method, the piece now exudes a richer, more refined depth, resembling the subtle elegance of textured leather.
