Seto region is known for producing the esteemed "Setoguro" tea bowls, used in the art of tea ceremony. Born and raised in an environment deeply connected to the color black, Terada was entrusted with creating the KUROgane series, a collection that took time and care to develop.
This piece combines a primitive shape with wabi-sabi gold accents around the rim, giving it an elegant appearance. The Bowl 210 is the ideal size for serving salads for 3 to 4 people.
- Each piece is handmade, so there may be slight variations in color, shape, and size from the photos. We hope you enjoy these differences as part of the unique character of each item.
- We recommend soaking the piece in warm water before using it for hot dishes, and in cold water for cold dishes. Part of the joy of using this vessel is watching how it changes with each use—it's a piece you can nurture over time.
Please note that the rim is accented with gold, so avoid using it in the microwave.
