This piece has a subtly refined appearance. Its earthy, rustic texture makes it easy to plate any dish, with a light, airy feel from the faintly translucent clay.

Recommended size for serving condiments and seasonings.

  • Each piece is handmade, so there may be slight variations in color, shape, and size from the photos. We hope you enjoy these differences as part of the unique character of each item.
  • With long-term use, some stains may develop; if this occurs, please use kitchen bleach.
  • This piece is made from porcelain, so it will not absorb stains or discolor. There is no need to boil in rice water before use. It is safe to use in the microwave, but please avoid direct flame or oven use. Dishwasher use is best avoided.
  • Since a matte glaze (non-glossy) is used strong contact with metal cutlery may leave black marks. If you are sensitive to the friction sound of matte glaze, we recommend using wooden cutlery.
  • As many pieces are thin, rapid temperature changes may cause fine cracks. To avoid this, warm the piece gently with a little hot water before adding very hot foods to a cold dish.
