At first glance, this lacquerware has the appearance of ceramic. By blending tonoko (powdered stone) into the base—typically used in undercoating—it gains a unique, organic texture. The rounded, plump form brings a sense of warmth and fits naturally into interiors, whether used for dining or display.
The 24cm plate is ideal for one-plate meals. It's perfect for breakfast with bread and salad, or for serving pasta and main dishes—suitable for various dining occasions.
