Toubou Makiya creates vessels inspired by the ancient pottery of the Ryukyu Kingdom, thoughtfully refined into forms that harmonize with contemporary lifestyles.

The surface of this piece is adorned with a dignified geometric pattern inspired by the scales of a dragon.
The matte, warm white surface, reminiscent of stone and sand, creates a refined interplay of light and shadow through its continuous textured relief.

Upon opening the lid, a dramatic contrast unfolds: a deep, captivating black interior emerges in striking opposition to the soft white exterior.
This intentional shift in expression between the inside and outside enhances the pleasure of displaying and appreciating the piece.
