This chasoku (tea scoop rest) is crafted from bamboo traditionally used for thatched roofs dating back to the Edo period.
Having supported human life for many years and absorbed the smoke from hearths, its beautifully aged surface evokes the presence of a work of art.

Care instructions: After use, rinse promptly with water before any residue hardens. Wash gently without applying pressure. After washing, do not leave the item wet—wipe it dry and allow it to air dry naturally. Store in a cool, well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and high humidity.
