Nobuhiko Tanaka’s "Hai-Kohiki" is a series of vessels that possesses a profound depth of expression. By mixing sand into porcelain, he creates a raw, rugged texture, which is then layered with white slip and a wood-ash glaze to produce a delicate web of fine crackles.
