Mizuta-san’s works possess a profound sense of the cycle between life and death.
Through his daily life surrounded by the reclaimed materials he has gathered, the forms of creatures, wings, and bones gradually begin to emerge within his mind from each individual piece.

Mizuta-san explains that he rarely begins his work with a specific species or subject in mind.
In much the same way, this piece reveals the final radiance cast by a nameless little life in the very moment of its passing.
