Octagon-shaped chopsticks.
Crafted from tetsuboku hardwood (or ironwood), these chopsticks are shaped into an octagonal form and finished with a Shunkei lacquer. The tips are rounded for a smooth, elegant touch.
Shunkei-nuri is a lacquer technique that brings out the natural beauty of wood grain by applying a transparent lacquer over a base tinted in yellow or red, highlighting the wood’s texture and depth.
An ideal choice for paired gifts, such as wedding presents or gifts for parents.
- These chopsticks are crafted from natural striped ebony wood. Please wash by hand and avoid using a dishwasher.
- Sudden dryness, temperature changes, and UV exposure can damage the wood and finish. For long-term storage, keep in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight.
