This white glaze is said to evoke the snowy landscapes of Hokkaido. By applying several layers of slip with a sponge, the surface takes on a soft, powdery texture—reminiscent of the ground just as the fine snow of Hokkaido begins to settle.

The plate’s versatile size makes it ideal for serving a main dish, a small salad, side dishes, or even dessert.
