Sakai Michikazu's mimosa glaze captures the essence of nature itself, offering a unique expression with each piece. The moss green of the glaze, created using ash from burned mimosa wood, harmonizes with the terracotta tones formed from pine ash settling during the firing process. These distinctive works are born from the timeless wisdom of mankind—feeding wood into fire—and the uncontrollable forces of nature, resulting in truly one-of-a-kind pieces.

This container is ideal for storing pickled plums or seasonings.
Please note that it is not airtight.
