This round plate was created through Shimoo Design’s new approach to the technique of botanical dyeing.

By beautifully preserving and enhancing the natural grain of the wood, each piece is carefully dyed to reveal a completely unique character and charm.

Finished with a surface that is resistant to oil and repels water, the plate can be used to serve food directly. It is perfect for moments such as enjoying baked goods or cakes with tea, as well as for serving bread and sandwiches as a light meal plate.

This particular piece is a special edition featuring silver-colored metal staples called "Kasugai," which are traditional joints carefully hammered into the wood.
