Fuyou is a series of beautiful wooden crafts whose grains rise above the surface. A food-safe finish makes the pieces durable and safe from staining when used with wet and oily foods.

Carved from a single plate of zelkova, this luxurious piece exudes a dignified presence, with the beautiful wood grain pattern of Fuyou harmonizing to create a powerful elegance.It is recommended not only as a tray for serving individual meals but also as a striking centerpiece for large gatherings and celebratory events.

This plate features a special design with 'Kasugai,' large silver nails traditionally used for connecting wood.

*Fuyou Series: Inspired by the traditional wood finishing techniques Uzukuri and Negoro, Shimoo Design developed an original method for finishing their line of tableware. Their original technique highlights the woods natural grain and emphasizes its texture while adding a distinctive tone and rustic appeal.
