This mug, inspired by the colors of a lakeside view, offers a comfortable grip. It enhances the warmth and flavor of hot drinks like coffee, tea, cocoa, or chai, making every sip feel even more enjoyable.
This piece is characterized by its dynamic, unique appearance, created during firing, a process known as yohen. The marks left on the base, known as tsumeyaki, are made by small clay bits added during firing to prevent the piece from sticking to the kiln shelf. Its weathered, antique-like wabi-sabi aesthetic evokes a sense of nostalgia.
